JoHo WorldSupporter mission and vision:

  • JoHo wants to enable people and organizations to develop and work better together, and thereby contribute to a tolerant tolerant and sustainable world. Through physical and online platforms, it support personal development and promote international cooperation is encouraged.

JoHo concept:

  • As a JoHo donor, member or insured, you provide support to the JoHo objectives. JoHo then supports you with tools, coaching and benefits in the areas of personal development and international activities.
  • JoHo's core services include: study support, competence development, coaching and insurance mediation when departure abroad.

United Planet streeft naar een wereld waarin mensen elkaar begrijpen, respecteren en steunen. Deze Amerikaanse organisatie biedt vrijwilligerswerk en stages aan bij projecten wereldwijd. 

Vrijwlligersprojecten worden o.a. aangeboden voor Gap year, voor families en voor enkele specifieke beroepsgroepen. United Planet heeft een groot aantal virtuele, online volunteering opties. Voor enkele projecten is het mogelijk om deel te nemen als je jonger dan 18 bent.

Vrijwilligerswerk

  • United Planet is een bemiddelingsorganisatie en matcht mensen die vrijwilligerswerk willen doen met één van hun partnerorganisaties die actief zijn over de hele wereld.
  • Het is mogelijk om mee te doen aan een project vanaf 1 week maar er zijn ook opties voor een langere termijn, bijvoorbeeld 6 maanden. Daarbij is het ook mogelijk met een groep vrijwilligerswerk te doen of stage te lopen bij een van de projecten.
  • Er zijn projecten in verschillende landen, bijvoorbeeld Kenia, China, Indonesië, Roemenië en Ecuador. De opties verschillen per land.
  • De thema's van de verschillende projecten zijn 'children & education', 'environemental sustainability' en 'global health'.
