Soort organisatie:

De taalschool is een klein, educatief centrum dat eigendom is van Evangelische Lutheran kerk in Tanzania.
De school onderwijst niet alleen reizigers, maar ook ministers en hulpverleners.

Locatie:

De taalschool ligt in de hoofdstad van de gelijknamige provincie Morogoro.
De stad ligt op drie uur rijden van Dar es Salaam, aan de voet van de groen beboste Uluguru Mountains. Morogoro mag dan een grote stad zijn, het gebied er omheen is vooral op landbouw gericht. Er wordt veel tabak verbouwd en de bossen op de heuvels behoren tot de alleroudste van onze planeet.

Faciliteiten en sociale activiteiten:

De school beschikt over een gemeenschappelijke ruimte welke voorzien is van alle gemakken. Computers ( internet aanwezig), telefoon, bibliotheek, tv en koelkast zijn aanwezig.
Buiten de cursus om kun je deelnemen aan sportieve activiteiten zoals basketbal, voetbal, frisbee en volleybal.
Er zijn daarnaast mogelijkheden voor trips naar de nabij gelegen Uluguru Mountains, de hoofdstad Dar es Salaam en het Mikumi National Park.

Cursusmogelijkheden:

Er is een korte en lange cursus Swahili.
De korte cursus is bedoeld voor iedereen die snel veel basiskennis van de taal op willen doen.
De lange cursus is bedoeld voor iedereen die de taal uitgebreider wil leren kennen.

Accommodatiemogelijkheden:

De taalschool beschikt over een extra gebouw waar je een kamer kunt huren.

Bijzonderheden:

Er is een kindercrèche aanwezig waar kinderen van studenten opgevangen kunnen worden gedurende de cursus!
