  • Challenges Worldwide is a global organization that has been active in over 50 countries since its founding in 1999, and currently mostly focuses on Sub-Saharan Africa.
  • The organization aims at developing economies to enhance job opportunities and a secure income for people living in towns and cities. This is mainly done by assisting local enterprises to grow.
  • Challenges Worldwide runs several projects in developing economies, such as: supporting coffee farmers in Rwanda to access international markets and training people at production centers in Malawi on pricing and administration. 
  • Besides, Challenges Worldwide tries to increase access to the benefits that development brings, such as clean drinking water, food security and healthcare.
  • The organization's ultimate goal is to create local sustainable development and reduce dependence on international aid and charity.
