Language school in La Paz is looking for marketing/graphic design intern

A private language school is looking for a motivated and independent working intern to assist the school in developing marketing plans and researching potential target markets for new projects. The school was founded in 2006 and has continued to develop and grow every year. Language classes are given both onsite and online for students from all parts of the world. The school is always trying to initiate new projects and expand into different markets. The projects are both local and international so the intern will gain experience in digital marketing as well as print media. The intern will need to be an independent worker carrying out all the tasks assigned to him/her. The intern will have weekly interaction with the supervisor in order to effectively complete the projects.

Tasks:

• Develop a marketing plan for a new business channel
• Make a cost-benefit analysis of different marketing tools and suggest which option(s) would be most cost-effective.
• Assist with the design of the promotional materials for the school
• Identify new markets locally and internationally
• Compile a list of potential new clients
• Make presentations to the school director

• Gain hands on experience in a truly international company
• Participate in daily Spanish lessons
• Experience life and learn about the Bolivian culture 

• Candidates should be third or fourth year students from one of the following majors: Marketing, Business Administration, Sales or Advertising.
• The candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as proficiency using Microsoft Office.
• Experience with using Adobe Photoshop would be a bonus.
• The time commitment for this internship is a minimum of 4 weeks with 12 weeks being possible.
