What is Earth Hour?
- All over the world it is celebrated: the Earth Hour.
- Earth Hour is a campaign of the WWF; millions of people, companies, and governments turn off their lights and other electric appliances.
- The Eiffel Tower (Paris), the Colosseum (Rome), and the Erasmus Bridge (Rotterdam) all participate.
Why The Earth Hour?
- The goal is to ask for attention for nature, the climate, and energy use.
What do you do when it is Earth Hour?
- Turn of your lights (at 8.30 PM in the Netherlands) and help create awareness for our planet!
- Also disconnect all plugs from the outlets.
- Not so difficult; check your local time and let us do it all together.
When is the Earth Hour?
- Every last Saturday of March.
