Hulp voor kinderen in nood

  • Save the Children is een internationale organisatie, toegewijd aan het helpen van kinderen in nood.
  • Kinderen in oorlogssituaties of ramp- en conflictgebieden lopen het risico om ziek, misbruikt of uitgebuit te worden of in een kindhuwelijk terecht te komen. Save the Children heeft als doel om die kinderen bij te staan.
  • De organisatie werkt in zo'n 120 landen met lokale hulpverleners en is actief in onder andere India, Syrie, Turkije en Griekenland.

Ambitie en Samenwerking

  • Save the Children richt zich met name op gezondheidszorg, onderwijs en bescherming.
  • Kinderen en hun familie worden bewustgemaakt van hun rechten, krijgen een veilige verblijfplaatsen en krijgen de gezondheiszorg die ze nodig hebben.
  • Save the Children organiseert zijn programma's en diensten in samenwerking met gemeenschappen, kinderen, ouders, ambassadeurs, andere hulporganisaties en overheden.
