Acres stands for Animal Concerns Research & Education Society and is an organisation that has a passion for protecting animals. The organisation's vision is to have a world where animals are treated with compassion and respect. And they would like to create a caring and socially responsible society.

Acres is an organisation that fights for the wellbeing of animals. To do so, they have different projects, for example several research projects and campaigns. They have these projects and campaigns all year round, but the types of campaigns migh change after a certain period. 

Research projects

  • Acres takes Research projects under its wing if they include animals. And use these findings for their main goal, which is the protection of animals. 
  • Within all of their projects, their approach is scientific, creative, practical and positive. 

Campaigns 

  • Acres has many campaigns regarding the protection of animals. They focus on different types of animals, such as pets, stray animals, wildlife and zoo animals. 
  • Within these campaigns, they fight for different species, such as dolphins, dogs, tigers, puppies, sharks and many more.
