Work at a summer camp in Brazil where children from the favelas of Rio de Janeiro receive extra education. During the summer camps, English lessons are given, computer skills are taught, and apps and serious games are programmed. Volunteers have a good command of Portuguese and preferably have a background in social work or education. A TEFL certificate is preferred when joining the team of English teachers.
The summer camp is 4 weeks during January!
EduMaisEduMais is a non-governmental organization that provides after-school care and supplementary education to vulnerable children and teenagers in the favelas of Rio de Janeiro.
