The botanical garden at Tøyen has more than 5500 plant species from different parts of the world, and is used for education, dissemination and research. The garden shows the diversity of plants and why we should keep them. Plants that are threatened or vulnerable in Norwegian nature are take care of here. The Botanical garden is also a popular place for Oslo citizens for relaxation and recreation.
