Onbewuste motivatie, ook wel onbewuste drijfveren genoemd, omvat de krachten die ons gedrag beïnvloeden zonder dat we ons er bewust van zijn. Het is een krachtige factor die onze keuzes en acties op verrassende manieren beïnvloedt.
Wat zijn de belangrijkste kenmerken van onbewuste motivatie?
- Onbewust: We beseffen niet wat ons motiveert.
- Automatisch: Onbewuste motivatie kan leiden tot snelle, instinctieve reacties.
- Moeilijk te veranderen: Door het onbewuste karakter is het lastiger om onbewuste motivatie aan te pakken.
Waarom is onbewuste motivatie belangrijk?
- Begrijpen van gedrag: Onbewuste motivatie verklaart een aanzienlijk deel van onze daden en geeft ons een dieper inzicht in de drijfveren achter menselijk gedrag.

- Manipulatie: Onethische praktijken kunnen onbewuste motivaties uitbuiten om te overtuigen, wat ethische dilemma's met zich meebrengt.
- Beperkte reikwijdte: Onbewuste motivatie is niet de enige drijfveer achter ons gedrag. Bewuste doelen en gedachten spelen ook een belangrijke rol.
