Work as a psychologist in Guatemala and organize group and individual sessions

  • You organize group therapy sessions for parents who have a child with a cleft lip and help them to overcome fear and shame.
  • You organize individual therapy sessions for somewhat older children and help them to deal with teasing and bullying.
  • You help both parents and children starting to believe in themselves again and to regain self-confidence.

What do you gain?

  • You have experience in working within a small NGO.
  • You can improve your already existing Spanish skills and live with a Guatemalan host family if you want to. 

What do you need?

  • Competences: communication, persuasion, courage, organization awareness.
  • You have a working knowledge of Spanish.
  • You have the ability to communicate with people with a different cultural and social background.

FloJa Malawi is a Dutch foundation that provides education, healthcare, and nutrition to vulnerable children in Ngara, a village in northern Malawi. FloJa Malawi also manages a campsite and welcomes volunteers, both short-term and long-term, travelers, and interns.
