Camphill

Camphill heeft verschillende gemeenschappen in Canada en de Verenigde Staten waar mensen met een verstandelijke handicap kunnen wonen en leren. Ze zien een verstandelijke handicap als een teken om iemands werkwijze aan te passen, niet iemands doelstellingen. Vanuit deze visie leveren ze begeleiding voor hun bewoners. Een deel van de gemeenschappen beheert ook een (grote) moestuin op biologisch dynamische wijze

Volunteering

  • Er is de mogelijkheid om tegen ruil van kost en inwoning, te helpen bij de zorg van gehandicapte inwoners van Camphill.
  • Vacatures staan op de website vermeld. Sollicteren kan door een account aan te maken en de online  sollicitatieprocedure te volgen. JoHo kan je o.a. verder helpen met advies over reisartikelen en het afsluiten van een reisverzekering, die je ook onder werktijd dekt.
