Travel in Latvia?

Latvia is not yet overrun with masses of tourists and not yet that expensive and to top it all off, a ticket to Riga is easily booked. In addition, Latvia is also quite beautiful. Riga is a city with character, even though the inhabitants can sometimes seem stiff due to their Russian past.
Break out during a walk along the Kolka Cape in the Slitere National Park. This is where the Baltic Sea and the Gulf of Riga meet.
Go rafting on the Gauja River. The Gauja National Park that lies around here is also worth a hike.
Take the cable car from Sigulda to Krimulda for a beautiful view of the Gauja River.
Wander through the impressive Rundala Palace, about an hour's drive from Riga.
Cesis is one of the oldest places in Latvia with wooden buildings, castles and churches.
Riga, with an impressive freedom monument and according to the Latvians the city with the most beautiful Art Nouveau buildings in all of Europe. In any case, the city has a cute center with nice cafes.
More and more people come to Jurmala to relax in one of the spas or to lie on the beach.
The historic city of Kuldiga is worth a visit, especially because the widest waterfall in Europe can be found here.
