Volunteer in orangutan and sun bear conservation in Borneo

Volunteer in Borneo at a center where orangutans and sun bears rescued and/or rehabilitated to return to the wild. More than 100 orangutans need your help. Tasks might include: making enrichments for sick, non-releasable and rehabilitating orangutans and sun bears; observing orangutan and sun bear behaviour; building feeding platforms or repairing animal habitats; assist carers with cleaning the orangutan islands.

Note the center operates on a strict hands off policy as the animals are kept away from human influence and risk of injury to yourself or others.
