Bij deze onderwijsinstelling, vergelijkbaar met een HBO/MBO instelling in Nederland, ben je niet alleen bezig met theoretische kennis maar kun je ook praktijkervaring opdoen, bijvoorbeeld op de faculteit 'Adventure, Culinary Arts and Tourism' waar je onder andere les kunt krijgen voor adventure sports zoals wildwater varen of reddingswerk; het opzetten van je eigen bedrijf binnen het toerisme, of een opleiding tot kok kunt volgen. Verder hebben ze onder andere een opleiding tot verpleegkundige en onderwijzer, pedagogisch hulpverlening en medewerker kinderopvang.

Door de ligging in het binnenland van Canada. ervaar je hier het 'echte' Canada vol natuur en kan je kennismaken met de diverse inheemse culturen.
