Terre des Hommes

Terre des Hommes is een hulporganisatie die zich inzet voor de rechten van kinderen in ontwikkelingslanden in Azië, Afrika en het Midden-Oosten. Terre des Hommes wil kinderuitbuiting structureel de wereld uit helpen. Gezondheidszorg, onderwijs en zelfstandigheid staan hierbij centraal. Daarnaast zet ze kinderrechten op de publieke en politieke agenda. Ze steunt meer dan 220 projecten in 17 landen. Daarnaast voert de organisatie noodhulp uit in landen waar zij al projecten ondersteunt of waar zusterorganisaties werken.
De vele vrijwilligers en donateurs zorgen er mede voor dat Terre des Hommes haar werk kan uitvoeren. Er zijn verschillende mogelijkheden om Terre des Hommes te ondersteunen. Zo kun je een project ondersteunen met een financiële bijdrage, vrijwilliger worden in Nederland of een actie starten.

  • JoHo wants to enable people and organizations to develop and work better together, and thereby contribute to a tolerant and sustainable world. Through physical and online platforms, it supports personal development and promote international cooperation is encouraged.

JoHo concept:

  • As a JoHo donor, member or insured, you provide support to the JoHo objectives. JoHo then supports you with tools, coaching and benefits in the areas of personal development and international activities.
  • JoHo's core services include: study support, competence development, coaching and insurance mediation when departure abroad.
