PAX (eerst IKV Pax Christi)

PAX zet zich in voor vrede, verzoening en gerechtigheid in de wereld. De organisatie is actief in Afrika, Colombia, Balkan, Kaukasus en het Midden-Oosten. Ze werkt onafhankelijk en wordt gesteund door betrokken individuen, maatschappelijke organisaties en kerken. De thema's waar de organisatie zich op richt zijn:

  • Veiligheid en Ontwapening

  • Grondstoffen en conflict

  • Gender, vrede en veiligheid

  • Dialoog in conflictgebieden

  • Politieke impact

PAX heeft naast het hoofdkantoor in Utrecht, een kantoor in Brussel. Daarnaast werkt ze samen met een grote diversiteit aan partners in het buitenland. Als je je actief wilt inzetten voor vrede en veiligheid biedt PAX mogelijkheden om vrijwilligerswerk te verrichten in Nederland. Je kunt hierbij denken aan het verrichten van werk in je eigen woonplaats of het maken van filmpjes voor de organisatie.

JoHo WorldSupporter mission and vision:
