Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos (NPH) is an organization dedicated to offering vulnerable children in Latin America a home. As a NPH volunteer you work with children, a minimum age of 21 is required and the minimum stay is one year.

JoHo WorldSupporter mission and vision:

JoHo wants to enable people and organizations to develop and work better together, and thereby contribute to a tolerant and sustainable world. Through physical and online platforms, it supports personal development and promote international cooperation is encouraged.

JoHo concept:

As a JoHo donor, member or insured, you provide support to the JoHo objectives. JoHo then supports you with tools, coaching and benefits in the areas of personal development and international activities.
JoHo's core services include: study support, competence development, coaching and insurance mediation when departure abroad.

Providing security

NPH is a Latin American chidcare organization that strives to give vulnerable children security, healthcare and an education.
The organization is internationally oriented and operaties in several countries in South America, such as Mexico, Bolivia, Peru and El Salvador.
In these countries, NPH has established homes where children and families can stay if necessary.
NPH also aims to trace family members that have lost contact with a child.

Preparing for the future

Children leave an NPH home when they are ready to do so, but some with a chronic health condition may live there their enitre life.
Preparing young people to live independently is one of the organizations' key features.

Take care of the planet

One of the core principles is sustainability. NPH uses renewable energy, solar panels and recycles waste.
Social buisnesses established by the organization produce crops, vegetables, eggs and meat.

Jobs

It is possible to work at NPH in one of the family homes, for example as a therapist or teacher, in exchange for room and board and a small stipend. Candidates should be motivated to help the children and be role models. Look at the website or contact the organization for further information.

UNICEF Nederland is de Nederlandse tak van de kinderrechtenorganisatie van de Verenigde Naties (VN). In Nederland houdt UNICEF toezicht op de naleving en het uitdragen van kinderrechten en het werven van fondsen.
