New Cairo British International School (NCBIS)

The New Cairo British International School (NCBIS) is located in a suburb of Cairo on a fully walled campus. The school has approximately 720 students divided across 3 streams. In addition to the Dutch Stream, these include the British Primary and Secondary streams. The Dutch Stream is a full-day school where students attend classes in Dutch and English from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM. All physical education, music, and English lessons (starting from the youngest pupils) are taught by English-speaking teachers, ensuring that by Grade 6 (Group 8), students receive lessons in both Dutch and English.

De New Cairo British International School (NCBIS) is gevestigd in een buitenwijk van Caïro met een volledig ommuurde campus. De school heeft ongeveer 720 leerlingen verdeeld over 3 stromen. Naast de Dutch Stream zijn dat ook de Britse Primary en Secondary stromen. De Dutch Stream is een volledige dagschool waar de leerlingen van 7.30 uur tot 14.30 uur lessen volgen in het Nederlands en Engels. Alle gymlessen, muzieklessen en Engelse lessen (vanaf de allerkleinsten) worden gegeven door Engelstalige leerkrachten zodat de leerlingen in groep 8 zowel Nederlands als Engelstalige lessen krijgen.

De school heeft met regelmaat vacatures voor verschillende functies binnen de school. Ze zoeken docenten die een passie hebben voor lesgeven en het ook als hun taak zien om buiten de werkuren mee te doen met activiteiten en expedities die de gemeenschap ten goede komen.
