CareMed International Insurance: duration limits of coverage
Duration minimum:

CareMed International Insurance: nationality and age limits of coverage
Nationalities
- Anyone can take out CareMed Travel Insurance online, regardless of nationality.
Minimum age
- Anyone older than 3 months can take out travel insurance with CareMed.
- For destinations in the US and Canada, the minimum age is 6 years.
Maximum age
- The maximum age is 69 years.
- For destinations in the US and Canada, the maximum age is 65 years.

Coverage of activities
- Adventurous activities are included. Choose the additional option for "Risky sports" if you will attend a sports college or have other activities on your itinerary with extra risks.
- Coverage for au pair work, travel, sports, study, volunteer work, internships, and working holidays abroad, with limited risk.
- Coverage for work: insurance is specifically intended for people who want to travel and be active in temporary jobs and volunteer work while on the road.
- No coverage for permanent stay: please note that this insurance is not intended for people who are going abroad for permanent residence and a career abroad.

Payment
- The full amount for travel insurance can be paid by credit card or by direct debit from a German account.
- Payment is made monthly or in a single installment.
Price level
- Premiums and rates vary depending on the age of the insured person(s) and whether the US and Canada are included in your travel plans.
- Different premiums and policy conditions apply to the 0-39 age group than to the 40-69 age group.
- Refunds for the remaining months are possible under certain conditions if you return home early.
