Voluntarios de la Esperanza

Voluntarios de la Esperanza (VE Global) offers volunteer work in one of the 12 shelters, community centers and schools in the poorest neighborhoods of Santiago. As a volunteer, you will work for a longer period of time in an international team. You can work as an English teacher or you can organize various activities to involve the local community more. Think for example of discussion groups, a neighborhood party or a sports and games day. Due to the social nature of the work, a command of Spanish is necessary. Field(s): Education & Teaching, Pedagogy & Youth Care, Art & Culture. The minimum stay is 3 months, but a minimum stay of 6 months is highly appreciated.
