Travel in Nigeria?

• Nigeria is Africa's most populous country with a large number of tribes and ethnic groups, making unity sometimes far away. The presence of oil has brought relative prosperity, but also a high crime rate, traffic chaos, pollution and unimaginable corruption. This does not really make the country a recommended destination. However, Nigeria does have beautiful flora and fauna and a few beautiful natural parks.
• See the seven Olumirin waterfalls.
• Tour a national park such as Cross River National Park, Yankari National Park and Gashaka Game Reserve.
• Climb Chappal Wadi, Nigeria's highest mountain for stunning views.
• Kano: Formerly the largest Hausa city, with beautiful medieval buildings and the Emir's palace.  
• Be prepared: Nigeria is criminal and troubled.
• A lesser point of Nigeria is pollution and corruption.
