ZOA helpt slachtoffers van natuurrampen en gewapende conflicten bij het weer opbouwen van een bestaan. ZOA zoekt voor Nederlandse fondsenwervingsactiviteiten doorlopend vrijwilligers. Op de website staan regelmatig vacatures voor betaalde banen en maatschappelijke stages. Werkcultuur: Medewerkers moeten overtuigd christen zijn. ZOA is actief in veel Afrikaanse landen en diverse conflictgebieden in Europa, Azië en het Midden-Oosten.
