Duurzame ontwikkelingshulp

  • Stichting Bouwen is opgericht door twee Nederlanders die hun eigen bouwkundige kennis wilden inzetten om een bijdrage te leveren aan ontwikkelingssamenwerking. De organisatie is hierbij actief in Ghana, Gambia en Malawi. 
  • In deze landen ondersteunen zij lokale projecten en initiëren zij projecten in samenwerking met de lokale bevolking. Voor de uitvoering gaan zij naar het land zelf om het bouwproject samen met de lokale bevolking in goede banen te leiden. 
  • De organisatie heeft duurzaamheid hoog in het vaandel staan, zowel op het gebied van materiaalgebruik als in het steunen van lokale ontwikkeling. De projecten worden dan ook opgezet op een manier dat het de werkgelegenheid, lokale capaciteiten en kennisoverdracht stimuleert.

Internships

  • Stichting Bouwen heeft jaarlijks stageplekken beschikbaar in de projectlanden voor bouwkunde studenten. Neem contact op met de organisatie voor meer informatie en om te solliciteren.

Volunteering

  • Stichting Bouwen is doorlopend op zoek naar vrijwilligers die in Nederland kunnen helpen met fondsenwerving en overige zaken. Stuur bij interesse een e-mail naar de organisatie.
