One World Center

One World Center (OWC) is a non-profit research organization in the US that aims to inspire and encourage people to take action against global poverty and climate change. They do this by offering specialized work-study programs that allow participants to gain insight into the problem of poverty and participate in the fight against poverty in developing countries. The programs are held partly in the US and partly in a developing country in Latin America or Africa.

JoHo wants to enable people and organizations to develop and work better together, and thereby contribute to a tolerant and sustainable world. Through physical and online platforms, it supports personal development and promote international cooperation is encouraged.

As a JoHo donor, member or insured, you provide support to the JoHo objectives. JoHo then supports you with tools, coaching and benefits in the areas of personal development and international activities.
JoHo's core services include: study support, competence development, coaching and insurance mediation when departure abroad.

One World Center (OWC) is non-profit onderzoeksorganisatie in de VS en heeft als doel om mensen te inspireren en te stimuleren om actie te ondernemen tegen wereldwijde armoede en klimaatverandering. Dit doen ze door het aanbieden van speciale werk-studie programma's, waarmee deelnemers inzicht krijgen in het armoedeprobleem en deel kunnen nemen aan de strijd tegen armoede in ontwikkelingslanden. De programma's zijn deels in de VS en deels in een ontwikkelingsland in Latijns Amerika of Afrika.

Je start een programma met training in Michigan, vervolgens ga je minimaal 6 maanden naar een projectland en vervolgens keer je voor de afsluiting van het programma nog een tijdje terug naar Michigan.
