Liberian Corn Bread
Ingredients:
- 225 g butter
- 340 g sugar
- 2 eggs
- 130 g flour
- 255 g corn meal
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 360 ml milk
- 3 tsp baking powder
- a dash of salt
Steps:
- Mix the butter and sugar, then add the eggs.
- Mix the dry goods (flour, corn meal, nutmeg, baking powder and salt).
- Add the dry mixture to the creamed mixture, alternately with milk.
- Bake for 40 minutes at 180 °C.
Ready In: 60 min.
