The Philippines are with me

I have been back in the Netherlands for more than a year. Now the libraries are open again and all my general "back in the Netherlands"- stuff is arranged. When you are a "new" citizen of the Netherlands again, you get a Free one year Library pass. Today, I went to the library and was amazed. The library is less than 300 meters from my house. Every day you can read all papers, you can choose a newspaper of the day (there are around 5 newspapers), books everywhere, computers to use for free one hour per day (included in the subscription), a choice of magazines, new magazines. Amazing! Spoiled, really spoiled, I feel blessed to be born where I was born. We don't get to choose. Typically something that I am gratefull of. Back in my memories is the local library in Baseco.... wondering how they are doing....
