Overnachten in een oud kuuroord

Termas de Azenha is een bijzondere accommodatie gelegen in midden Portugal. De accommodatie ligt net buiten het dorpje Pedrogao do Pranto en de badplaats Figueira da Foz ligt in de nabije omgeving.
De accommodatie bestaat uit vakantiehuisjes, gastenkamers, hotelkamers, studio's en een camping. Ook is er een oude therme met kuurgedeelte en zwembaden en een kleine boerderij met een olijven-, sinaasappel- en mandarijnenboomgaard.
Termas da Azenha biedt daarnaast ook verschillende ontspannende en actieve activiteiten aan. Zo kun je een wandeling maken, een massage krijgen en een cursus mozaïeken of scenario schrijven volgen. Meer informatie over de activiteiten en accommodaties van Termas da Azenha vind je op de website.

Volunteering

Het is zowel in hoog- als laagseizoen mogelijk om bij Termas de Azenha vrijwilligerswerk te verrichten tegen kost en inwoning.
Werkzaamheden zijn o.a. het bereiden van maaltijden, entertainen van gasten, werken in de tuin, schoonmaken van accommodaties, het ontwikkelen en onderhouden van het terrein en het decoreren van verschillende muren. De minimale verblijfsduur is één maand met een maximum van 6 maanden. Het verrichten van vrijwilligerswerk korter dan één maand is ook mogelijk maar dan betaal je zelf de maaltijden.
