ro. 109. Om te bepalen of er sprake is van existentie dan wel non-existentie bij het unilateraal afscheiden van Quebec van Canada, moet een beroep worden gedaan op internationaal recht
ro. 111. Er moet gelet worden op het recht op zelfbeschikking van personen, maar dit kan niet van toepassing worden geacht op de omstandigheden in Quebec.
ro. 131-138. Personen woonachtig in een kolonie hebben het recht zich af te scheiden van de kolonisator. Maar er is geen sprake van onderdrukking; hetgeen de afscheiding zou rechtvaardigen.
