Remote accommodation

Casa Loma is a hostel with European owners located in the town of Minca, Colombia.
Minca is a mountain village surrounded by forests, rivers and farms. Located 14 kilometers from the city of Santa Marta. The hostel overlookes Minca, Santa Marta, the surrounding mountains and the sea.
The building where the hostel is located is a wooden hilltop house. Because of the remote location, there are no (modern) roads, cars, shops or neighbours.

Rooms, hammocks and meals

Casa Loma has several kinds of rooms, cabins, dorms and huts, all with different levels of privacy. It is also possible to rent a hammock or a space to put up your own tent.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available. All meals are vegetarian and mostly based on locally acquired products. Drinks (tea, soft drinks, beer, spirits, cocktails) are available at all times.

Activities

Casa Loma offers activities such as yoga lessons, hikes and farm visits.
The hostel can also arrange Spanish lessons at the premises.
