Bridge Building Competition (group - therapeutic activity)

The children will be divided into two teams. Each team gets:
- papers
- scissors
- tape
- thin wooden sticks
The assignment is to make a bridge across a 30cm gap between 2 tables.
The team that makes the strongest bridge wins.
Purpose/objectives
Practicing with working together in a team. Learn about the physics of paper and use it for the strategies for the bridge building. When is paper strong? What can you do with paper?
Materials
One pack of printing paper, scissors, tape, two tables, and wooden sticks.
