Villa Ticca

The Dutch organisation Villa Ticca used to offer a safe place to underprivileged children in Ecuador untill they where forced to shut down to changing local regulations. Since 2020 they support a wider range of projects in Ecuador and Argentina, still focussing on the support of underprivileged children.

'What we contribute to the World'

Foundation Niños de Waita Ticca was founded in 2003 by Evelien Kremer and Mariska Versteegh.
The goal of the Foundation Niños Waita Ticca is the provision of childcare in Ecuador. Only the poorest families are provided with childcare. Villa Ticca works with local people who receive a local salary and international employees (volunteers). Children are handled with respect and love, they receive nutritious meals and a chance to develop.

Work & Internship CV

The Foundation often needs help in the Netherlands and also in Ecuador, or other countries. If you want to help Villa Ticca you can do several things:

Volunteering

Abroad: In Villa Ticca they can always use your help. You can work with the kids or help reconstructing the buildings or garden.
In your own country: Help Villa Ticca get more money by raising funds. Or maybe you can help by writing an article in one of the papers or magazines of your country.

Bureau Buitenland zet zich in voor Nederlanders die vastzitten in een buitenlandse gevangenis. Als de gedetineerde toestemming geeft om bezoek te krijgen, dan kan de vrijwilliger de gedetineerde gaan bezoeken.

De Emigratiecoach verzorgde online begeleiding bij de emigratieplannen naar onder andere Frankrijk. De activiteiten zijn sinds 2020 verlegd naar gebieden buiten emigratie en lang verblijf in het buitenland.

Stichting Gichon is werkzaam in Wit-Rusland, waar de stichting hulp biedt voor kinderen die getroffen zijn door de ramp in Tsjernobyl.
De stichting heeft onder andere een opvanghuis voor de kinderen opgezet.
