Do a medical internship in Africa and assist in local hospitals. The work is dependent on the selected hospital, country and your level of practical work experience. You generally work alongside local professionals. Volunteers without medical training are also welcome in some projects, they can assist with paper work, at the reception or organizing the waiting room.
