Werkgroep 1 Echtscheidingen

Bijna 40% van de echtparen gaat scheiden. Dit brengt naast gevolgen voor de partners ook gevolgen voor de kinderen mee. Mogelijke gevolgen van een echtscheiding zijn:

  • Verlies van ouder: kinderen blijven bij een van de ouders wonen. Soms wordt het contact met een van de ouders geheel verbroken. Slechts in een klein aantal gevallen hebben ex- partners een goede verstandhouding
  • Ouderlijke stress: de ouders ervaren veel stress voor, tijdens en na een echtscheiding
  • Ouderlijk conflict: dit blijkt de belangrijkste reden te zijn voor de negatieve impact van echtscheiding op kinderen. Met name de hoeveelheid conflict en de manier waarop conflicten gehanteerd worden is van belang voor het welzijn van kinderen.
  • Economische problemen: kinderen worden in 80% van de gevallen toegewezen aan de moeder en die heeft vaak de minste economische middelen.

In het paper dat geschreven moet worden over echtscheidingen wordt de volgende vraag beantwoord:
Hoe zou de kwaliteit of duurzaamheid van intieme relaties verbeterd kunnen worden?

De meest voorkomende oorzaken voor scheidingen zijn conflicten, seksuele problemen, ontrouw, jaloezie, communicatie en financiële problemen. 

Probleemdefinitie

In de probleemdefinitie moeten de volgende vragen beantwoord worden:

  1. Wat is het probleem?
    - Bv. ontrouw, communicatiestijl, mishandeling etc. - Is het een oplosbaar probleem?

  2. Waarom is het een probleem?
    - Wat zijn de mogelijke gevolgen?

  3. Voor wie is het een probleem?
    - Welke partijen zijn erbij betrokken en wat is de doelgroep?

  4. Wat zijn de mogelijke oorzaken van het probleem?
    - Stel waarom-vragen
    - Voorbode voor de theoretische analyse
