In het buitenland wordt zwemmen vaak puur als sport gezien en wordt er tijdens zwemlessen dan ook alleen aandacht besteed aan de sport prestaties. In het buitenland is zwemmen een sport, in Nederland geven we zwemles om te zorgen dat onze kinderen zichzelf in het water te kunnen redden. Wanneer u samen met uw kinderen (tijdelijk) in het buitenland woont wilt u natuurlijk wel dat deze een veilig en erkend zwemdiploma halen.
