With a minimum of 5 hours per week, this volunteer opportunity is also a great way to get involved with Brazilian youth during your study or expat period in Brazil.A TEFL certificate (or other ESL certificate) is preferred, as is a native or near-native level of English.
EduMaisEduMais is a non-governmental organization that provides after-school care and supplementary education to vulnerable children and teenagers in the favelas of Rio de Janeiro. Founded in 2016 by a Dutch woman and now fully embraced by the local population. EduMais is constantly seeking volunteers to assist with teaching, fundraising and organization of their summer camps.
