Jaco beach ligt op slechts 2 uur van de hoofdstad San José en 1,5 uur van de luchthaven. Academia Tica biedt je de mogelijkheid Spaans te leren op deze prachtige plek. Jaco Beach is ideaal voor surfliefhebbers, maar biedt veel meer dan alleen prachtige stranden en heerlijk weer. De flora en fauna in de nabij gelegen nationale parken zijn adembenemend. Jaco Beach heeft een gezellig nachtleven en er zijn diverse restaurants, bars en discotheken. Niet voor niets is Jaco beach de populairste kustplaats van Costa Rica.
De school is is gevestigd in een rustige wijk met volop restaurants, cafés en winkels in de directe omgeving. Het prachtige strand ligt op slechts 15 minuten loopafstand.

Faciliteiten en sociale activiteiten:
Het gebouw is gelegen in een prachtige tropische tuin met zwembad. De school heeft vier leslokalen, een multimediaruimte met computers en internet (gratis Wifi) en een kleine kantine. Daarnaast is er een bibliotheek en een groot dakterras.
Na de lessen heb je tijd om de omgeving te ontdekken, bijvoorbeeld per mountainbike. Vanuit Jaco Beach kun je een bezoek brengen aan een van de vele nationale parken. Ook watersporten als surfen en kayakken zijn hier erg populair.

Cursusmogelijkheden:
Keuze uit verschillende niveaus en groepssamenstellingen. Leren en werken combineren is ook mogelijk. Kies je voor deze cursus dan combineer je een taalcursus met een stage of vrijwilligerswerk.

Keuze uit een gastgezin, appartement en hotel.
