Fighting poverty

Anan Clinica Foundation was founded in 2009 to tackle healthcare problems in the Nanatha community in Mozambique.
At that time, the local community was already working on fighting several poverty related issues with support from outside. Anan Clinica was established to focus on the healthcare issues.
Over the years a couple of programs have been set up to develop the community. These include, a school building, a community center, a micro-finance project and a market.

Healthcare

Anan Clinica aims to address healthcare issues by improving education on the subject and providing basic healthcare to the community.
In order to do this, an education program has been set up to increase knowledge on hygiene, health and preventing diseases.
This is mainly done by volunteers who help the community by passing over their knowledge on hygiene and common diseases in the area, like malaria, malnutrition or AIDS.
To establish a structural solution, Anan Clinica also cooperates with several NGO's in the region and spread their work to other communities.
