PAX - for peace

PAX is committed to peace, reconciliation and justice around the world. The organization, formerly known as IKV Pax Christi, is active in Africa, Colombia, the Balkans, the Caucasus and the Middle East. It works independently and is supported by engaged individuals, civil-society organizations and churches. The themes the organization focuses on are:

Security and Disarmament
Natural resources and conflict
Gender, peace and security
Dialogue in conflict areas
Political impact

In addition to its headquarters in Utrecht, PAX has an office in Brussels. It also works with a wide variety of partners abroad. If you want to actively contribute to peace and security, PAX offers opportunities to volunteer in the Netherlands. This could include doing work in your own hometown or making videos for the organization.

JoHo concept:

As a JoHo donor, member or insured, you provide support to the JoHo objectives. JoHo then supports you with tools, coaching and benefits in the areas of personal development and international activities.
JoHo's core services include: study support, competence development, coaching and insurance mediation when departure abroad.
