What do you need?

• Music Chairs
• At least 4 persons

How does it work? 
Put one chair less then the amount of childeren in a two rows with the back of the chairs towards each other. Then play the music en let the children dance on the music. And then on an unexpected moment stop the music. Then the children should sit as fast as they can on a chair and one child will remain without a chair. That child is out of the game and then one chair should be taken out of the row. Then you repeat this until one chair and two children are left. The child who first sits on the chair wins the game.

What else do I need to know? 
You might be somewhere where they don’t have any chairs. Change in that case the game a little bit. Make the children stand still, when the music stops. If they don’t stand still they are out of the game. Or use marked spots with crayons or something else instead of chairs…

What is the purpose of this game? 
Being active. improving reflexes of eachother and also being competetive in combination with music are elements of this game.
