Paradijs voor surfers

  • In Umata Village verblijf je in een traditioneel gebouwd Mentawai huis, ook wel een 'Uma' genoemd. Deze Uma is gebouwd door de eigenaars en bewoners van de lokale gemeenschap. De bedden zijn handgemaakt en de Uma is geschikt voor maximaal acht personen.
  • Het is de ideale plek voor surfers; zo zijn er meer dan 25 surfsports in de buurt waardoor er altijd wel goede golven zijn om het water op te gaan. Diverse van deze surfsports zijn uitsluitend geschikt voor gevorderden, wegens heftige golven en scherpe koraal ondergrond

Op stap met de medicijnman

  • Vanuit Umate village worden jungletochten aangeboden, met veel aandacht voor de lokale cultuur en spirituele beleving van de jungle
