Stagebemiddeling

Go for Africa is in 2006 opgericht door Jan Huizinga met als doel Afrikaanse avontuur en ervaringsgericht werken met elkaar te combineren. De stichting maakt een koppeling tussen Nederlands en Afrikaans onderwijs door avontuurlijke werkstages te organiseren in diverse West-Afrikaanse landen.
Go for Africa verzorgt verschillende soorten stages met name op MBO niveau, bijvoorbeeld in de techniek of de zorg.
Een stage via Go for Africa bestaat uit twee delen: de reis naar Afrika en de stage in Afrika. Voor de reis dient de student een tweedehands auto te regelen die 'Saharaproof' is om daarmee vervolgens naar Afrika te rijden.
De student zal tijdens de reis steeds op verschillende accomodaties verblijven, dat allemaal wordt geregeld door Go for Africa zelf. De reis zal ongeveer 3 weken duren, en de stage duurt 7 weken.

Het avontuur

Beleef het avontuur en maak kennis met vele landen en culturen.
In 3 weken tijd, van de kou in Nederland, via de sneeuw in het Atlasgebergte, naar de hitte van de woestijn en de jungle van Gambia.
Onder deskundige begeleiding van Go for Africa en haar privé-rijders/coaches gaan je samen het avontuur aan.

Voorbereiding

Richt een eigen team op en schrijf je in bij Go for Africa.
Ga op zoek naar een auto en maak deze sahara proof.
Regel sponsors o.a. opzet van social media, presentaties en/of website
Informeer je op de “Barreldagen” (4 maal in de voorbereidingsfase) voor alle praktische informatie en leer meteen de andere deelnemers kennen.
