Bahala na, come what may. Tomorrow is another day is a common word to use. In God's time it will be done and decided. I think it is very hard especially as a dutch person to adapt to the Bahala na - mentality.
I have been in the Philippines for 7 years, I can't be Bahala na. I try to be Bahala na, or perhaps I don't want to be Bahala na. Some of the volunteers just arrived back from a trip, it took them many many hours to get a bus. The bus company said, there might not be any place for you in the bus anymore until tomorrow. They were freaking out, because monday is busy day in the office.
All filipinos were still calm and relaxed, they go through this, these lines, this waiting etc for days and days and weeks and weeks and months and months. Guess they are Bahala na, guess I can learn from them. Or guess it is better not to learn it?
Some things are beyond your control, so try to have control, doesn't make any sense...

You have put that in to words very nicely. I already experienced this in Spain when I was living over there. Sometimes I think I should be some more Bahala Na, and just let life lead the way instead of wanna control it all.
