Sint Eustatius National Parks

Sint Eustatius National Parks (STENAPA) is a foundation that manages three nature reserves and a botanical garden on the island of Sint Eustatius. This organization's projects focus on nature and environmental education, nature management and conservation, and the planting of native trees and plants.

Natuurbescherming

  • Sint Eustatius National Parks beheert drie beschermde natuurgebieden en een botanische tuin op Sint Eustatius in opdracht van de overheid. De organisatie werkt veel samen met de lokale bevolking om de natuur zo veel mogelijk te beschermen.
  • Het is mogelijk de nationale parken te bezoeken. Er zijn verschillende wandelpaden en vaarroutes. In de botanische tuin is er ook ruimte voor recreatie, met picknick en BBQ mogelijkheden.

  • Er zijn verschillende vrijwilligerswerk mogelijkheden bij de nationale parken. Zo kun je bijvoorbeeld helpen bij het onderhouden en beheren van de parken.
