Recipe for Cherry-chicken-ginger pie (Kip-kerrie-kersen taart)

A friend of mine shared this recipe with me a while ago. Very delicious and so simple to make! :)

Kip-kerrie-kersen taart

Bladerdeeg (of voor een zoete variant: groot blik croissantdeeg) 500 gram kipfilet
1 pot pitloze kersen op sap (uit laten lekken)
Ca. 3 gemberbolletjes (fijngesneden)

Ca. 2 tenen knoflook (fijngesneden) 1,5 tl sambal
Zout en peper
1 zakje kerriepoeder (Knorr)

Creme fraîche (klein) Geraspte kaas (jong belegen)

Eventueel kip eerst paneren in (pittige) kruiden
Oven voorverwarmen (200°C)/bladerdeeg uit vriezer
Kip braden in hapjespan
Kersen, gember, knoflook, sambal en zout & peper toevoegen.
Als laatste de kerriepoeder en creme fraîche erbij. Ondertussen en springvorm invetten.
Bladerdeeg verdelen over springvorm (punten over laten hangen). Vulling erin verdelen
Punten naar binnen vouwen en bovenkant afdekken met bladerdeeg. Geraspte kaas erover
In oven 20 à 25 min op 200°C

Cherry-chicken-ginger pie

Puff pastry (or for a sweet variant: large tin croissant dough) 5 ounces chickenfilet
1 jar seedless cherries in syrup (Drain the syrup)
Approx. 3 scoops of ginger
{from a jar} (chopped)

Approx. 2 cloves garlic (chopped)
1.5 teaspoon sambal (chilli)
Salt and pepper
1 bag curry powder (
Oink thanks to auto translate!!) Creme fraiche (small)

Grated cheese (semi-mature)

Use spices on the chicken and leave it for a little while (not required) Preheat the oven (200 ° C) / Take pastry out of freezer
Roast chicken
Add cherries, ginger, garlic, chilli and salt & pepper.

Finally add the curry powder and creme fraiche.
Meanwhile grease
.
Devide the Puff in the cake tin and leave the points overhanging. Add and divide the chicken/cherry-filling
Fold puff Points inward and cover the top of the pie.
Add the Grated cheese on top
In pre-heated oven 20 to 25 min at 200°C
