IoT LPWAN, EdegAI Lab Kit

With experience in Industry 4.0 and research in technology, we have built a comprehensive IoT Lab Kit to enhance the skills of students. We had designed a more open, rapid plug-and-play Prototyping Lab that will be compatible with the most popular protocols used for the realization of IoT such as ZigBee, LoRaWAN, Wifi, Ethernet, Bluetooth, RS485/RS232, etc. The labs are set up as Self Sustainable and Sufficient Model which allows students to participate more and a lesser amount of faculty’s time is consumed. The clarity of the roles and responsibilities allows for running these labs in a Sustainable and Sufficient mode.

Advantages of UCT IoT, LPWAN, and Edge-AI Lab Setup

Learning through the Hands-on approach is a long-lasting impact hence it is important to emphasize hands-on learning. The labs are set up as Self Sustainable and Sufficient Model which allows students to participate more and a lesser amount of faculty’s time is consumed. The clarity of the roles and responsibilities allows for running these labs in a Sustainable and Sufficient mode.

Below are the key objectives and Benefits of Industry driven/collaborative labs provided by us:

• To prepare the students for global competence, with core knowledge in Electronics and Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Electrical Engineering/ Computer Engineering having the focus on research to meet the needs of industry.

• To effectively bridge the gap between industry and academics for effective communication skills, professional attitude, and a desire to learn. Empower students to become skilled and ethical Entrepreneurs.

• To have excellent scientific and engineering breadth to comprehend, analyze, design, and solve real-life problems using state-of-the-art techniques.

• Build firmware for prototypes and technology explorations for the future of connected devices.

• Work in a system with smart embedded devices, backend web services, IoT, Cloud Computing, AI/ML, Big data, etc.

• Contribute to the evolution of the mixture of clean technology and the Internet of Things.
