Australia's Workplace Health and Safety Then vs. Now

In the past 10 years, workplace health and safety have continued to improve in Australia

One in four Australians has experienced a work-related injury or illness. And while that represents an improvement from 10 years ago (when one in five people reported being injured at work), it's still a staggering number.

The good news is that companies are taking steps to address these issues—by ensuring that their employees are trained on safe working practices, by providing resources for workers' compensation claims and workers' compensation claims management services, and by investing in their health and safety programs.

While there were many improvements made in the past 10 years, there is still work to be done. We hope this infographic will help you gain an understanding of what you can do as an employer or employee to help make your workplace as safe as possible.
