The graphic design world keeps on growing each and every day. Websites help you to make your own info graphics, they teach you how to make your own posters, where you can download fonts. In short, today nothing seems impossible regarding to digital publishing.
De Arrels Foundation, a Spanish foundation that helps the homeless in Barcelona with food and housing noticed this remarkable development. They realized homeless people do not have many tools to ask for help but putting some words on a cardboard. These words are now being used as unique fonts to be sold on Homeless Fonts.
An amazing thoughtful initiative if you ask me, since especially the commercial world is very keen on new and funky fonts to persuade the costumer. Why not do something good while they try to make money. I bought a font, not that I really needed one right now, I'm a newly grad, but just to participate and support this good cause. Will you buy one too?
